Programme Overview

Africa’s Green Economy Summit brings together the eco-system of green economy stakeholders to connect and generate dialogue on the future of the green economy across Africa, it also brings forward sustainable innovation able to change on our continent.

The event features three days jam-packed with keynote addresses, a plenary session, project investment pitches, solution driven round tables, closed door conversations, matchmaking, networking functions and an offsite experience day across Cape Town.

Topics of discussions focus on governance and policy, finance and investment, ESG and impact, EVs and hybrid vehicles, hydrogen, energy storage, renewable energy, grid management, clean tech and innovation, manufacturing, infrastructure development, sustainable cities and urban planning.

Green project developers are given the opportunity to pitch local and global investors, while investors are given the opportunity to host project prospects 1 on 1 in an open and closed-door environments.

Key investment verticals are e-mobility – EVs and hybrid vehicles, energy storage, renewable energy – including green hydrogen, clean technologies, infrastructure / smart cities and manufacturing.
Green economy project being highlighted range from start-ups to large scale municipal / national infrastructure projects.

Africa’s Green Economy Summit presents an online green project directory for Africa. Our mission is to market African green projects to a global network of investors to fast track their development through sustainable funding.
