DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

The Gautrain Project is one of the flagship projects in Gauteng that has had a positive impact on the economy and society. It was procured as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) on a 19.5-year concessional contract which is scheduled to expire in March 2026. As a result, the Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) has commenced with the process to procure a new partnership to continue the Gautrain operations beyond March 2026.
