Africa’s Green Economy Summit connects global capital and green economy projects across the continent and is an official event of E-FEST Cape Town.
In connecting people and organisations to information and each other, the Summit brings the global investor community, project owners and business executives focused on green transport, renewable energy and clean technologies, together with African governments, cities, and policy makers to pave the way for an inclusive green economy and a sustainable future.

Programme
Green Economy focus areas in 2023: Renewable energy, e-mobility, infrastructure & manufacturing
Global leaders and experts will share strategic insights, thought leadership and best practices on how policy, investment and innovation can be combined to support transition to a green economy in Africa.
The 3-day connecting platform will showcase investable African projects in both closed and open deal making environments. Connecting stakeholders to move the sector forward will be core to the objective of the Summit.
The interactive gathering will be followed by further networking during an off-site day of experiential activities in true Cape Town style. The week will end with the exciting international Cape Town E-Prix, hosted for the first time in Africa.

Go Green Africa!
On 25 February 2023 Cape Town will host an ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Cape Town E-Prix event for the first time in sub-Saharan Africa.
The global event, and it’s supporting 10-day E-Fest, will serve as a celebration of Go Green Africa, a shared mission founded by organizations committed to playing a meaningful role in helping to accelerate Africa’s transition to a “Green Economy” in a just and inclusive way.
This is an invitation for to join Go Green Africa in delivering the first chapter of this transformational story and help us to manifest a lasting legacy that will not only transform South Africa and our continent but also serve as a platform which Partners can leverage to demonstrate their commitment to playing an important role in driving this transition.
